When the war broke out on the Gaza Strip in 2014, many European and American embassies evacuated their citizens from Gaza, but a number of Swedes who were on family visits. They weren't able to reach the evacuation sites, and left behind for more than a year after the end of the war, without receiving any help from the Swedish embassy in Tel Aviv to get them out. This film investigates the reasons why the Swedish embassy did not help its stranded citizens.
